My Sprinter came with Michelin LTX A/S. The first set lasted 155k or 165k, don't have the numbers in front of me. I run 80 psi all the time and rotate them religiously at 10-12k. I replaced the first set with 2 Michelin LTX A/S and two Korean made Aurora tires at less than half the price of a Michelin LTX A/S. Now I put on them 135k. The Michelins still have tread left, but the Auroras need to be replaced soon.
I don't think I will put other than Michelins on my Sprinter again. As soon as I put the 2 Auroras on, the van felt like it was on ice, wanted to wonder from side to side. The problem was way worse when the tires were on the rear. When they were on the front, not as bad. This issue became less and less as the tires wore.
