I imagine they will petition for a waiver exempting themselves from Obamacare. Obama's been handing waivers out like candy to his favorite constituencies.

They stopped giving out the waivers.I think if Obama gave or even tried to give them one now he knows it would cost him to much with the many who already do not think highly of unions and not just the republicans.

IT great aint it! What I find really funny is when Obama was pushing the health care bill He siad that when someone goes to the hospital and does no have health insurance that it cost the people that do have insurance more money and thats not fair!To bad he does not feel this way about taxes.

They are shocked, nay, devastated, when they learn that they MIGHT have to use even some of their OWN wages to take here of their own health care.

Well I know they went back to work without a new contract.They really belived that they would cripple verizon,they were wrong.One of the biggest reasons why they went on strike was because they were claiming verizon wanted to gut healthcare.the company only wants to start obamacare early thats all.

here is a link to a website that has daily updates on the strike.Many of the tatics are the same ole union when you dont agree with them.However they also did things to coustmers/cut phone lines to police stations and alot of other stuff.I think they went back without a contract because someone got smart and relized verizon could go on without them and that they were doing more to hurt the image of the unions being there to protect the people,then they were to hurt the image of verizon.They really can not make to big of a deal out of having to buy into the OBAMACARE when they made such a big deal to get people behide it in the first place.

Could also be why msnbc did not make it the top story on every program because they new it would have been very bad for the unions.I mean think about it when have they every passed up a chance to make the rich look bad?

They really can not make to big of a deal out of having to buy into the OBAMACARE when they made such a big deal to get people behide it in the first place.
