Not to sound like a republican, there is a big difference between Giuliani and other candidates on both sides of the fence. I won’t go into my thoughts of the candidate; he has proven beyond a doubt his ability to lead in hard times.
With that said, I am inclined not to really take the site seriously enough to spend a lot of time on it. It didn’t take me long to find the source of the money supporting the site and the primary authors, which all pointed to the AFL-CIO, which is not the right organization to be throwing stones.
To remind people that NYC is a union town and for what it is worth, working with them before 9/11 on disaster readiness for a client, it was a pain in the a** trying to get anything out of the FD or other agencies and had to have some really important people to step in so we can do our work. After 9/11 it wasn’t a problem. The union stood in the way of a lot of stuff for us, and it was just unbelievable to blame the mayor for problems that have been there for years.
