Truck Stop Window Cleaning

Recently I have noticed more and more people walking around at truck stops carrying a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels looking for a handout. Judging by what I saw I'm sure they tell a good back packing story too...
At a Pilot in Birmingham AL. last week a pretty decent looking car rolled up with four people inside and I watched as a couple got out with their tools ( windex and paper towels) along with a backpack. The man carried the backpack and his female co-worker carried the other tools of their trade. They then began walking from truck to truck, climbing up and then knocking on each of the parked truck doors until someone would answer. On and on truck to truck...
I know if I was woken up out of my sleep the last thing I'd do is pay someone to climb up and clean my windows, but what shocked me is how many people just gave them money!
Don't get me wrong I'm all about the entrepreneurs of the world but this is ridiculous. I was hoping they would knock on my door so I could at least tell them newspaper works better for the streaks and to go clean the windows of the car they got out of! Tired of seeing people get something for nothing and lying their way there.

Would you have paid them to clean your windows or given them money?

If they are offering a service which in this case is window cleaning then they are not looking for a handout. I paid a guy $20 to clean my windows and mirrors before and he did a fantastic job even though I had walked inside and he could've just walked off.

I normally ask my GPS for the fuel island Ph.#,
call it in and ask to get a pay-for cup scare e'm off.
there's no rezone what so ever why a driver would be bothers in his sleep.
don't really care what service they have to offer.
