I have been in the logistics business since 2002 and recently on the independent carrier side since 2018. What I do is try to find deficiencies and threat of livelihood in businesses. With the trucking industry, especially with independents, there is a huge problem with misinformation, manipulation, theft, and other constraints that doesn't seem to be an issue for the FMCSA, brokers, load boards and other governing bodies. We are creating a software application that is as easy to use for the shippers as it is for the carriers so there is no reason to utilize most brokering firms as a primary source.
We are currently in the process of creating a software to directly link independent carriers and shipping/delivery companies together in hopes of eliminating the current threats and problems within the industry.
