When I look on load boards, I very rarely see "straight truck" listed as an acceptable truck for a specific load. We have a 24' straight truck. Can I respond to the listings that say "van" or should I really just look for "straight truck"?

if the weight is dispayed and you happen to notice thats its only a few thousand pounds then I would call.alot of times they just list it as van and dont specify ltl because they want exclusive use.they dont list the ltl cause they are willing to pay truckload rate just to get it there.but that also depends on what boards you are using.
