I don't know much. But, I've just signed on with A. Blair running T/T. We are leasing from Xtra Lease. This way, if I have to pull a company trailer, I can easily drop my Xtra trailer and pick another one up after I deliver the shipper's trailer. They have terminals all over the U.S. and are used by a lot of companies.
You will have to have insurance for your trailers. Unless Xtra has a deal to provide it for you at a cost that is reasonable.
Hope this helps.
