total newbie looking for a van owner to drive for.

I have a friend who would like to get into expediting. She is a good worker and has good morals. She would treat equipment like it was her own and do her best for both the owner and herself. I'd put her in a van myself if I could afford to because she would make us both money and especially after she gets used to the system. Do owners ever put a complete newbie in a van? Where can I point her to look for opportunities? I've told her to check this website and the ads on here but are there other resources? Thanks for any and all responses.

LDB, most companies will maintain a list of drivers looking for trucks, and will assist their truck owners in their search for drivers. a Lot of van drivers are newbies since it is kind of a first step into expediting. Have your friend contact recruiters from different companies and introduce herself. I'm sure that She will come up with an opportunity in a van. Owners are always interested in a good driver. I hope things work out for her - X
