What is the recommended replacement tires for a van? I have 116k miles on my original Hankook tires and now that winter is over I figure I will get 150-170k miles as they still have 7/32 left on them. I know you can get into some top name brand but will they get me more milage then these Hankooks? I plan on replacing them in october of this year god willing. Also what is average lifespan in this line of work? My personal cars never came close to what I am going to get out of these.

I don't know a thing about hankook. But I have always had good luck with Michelin--only drawback is they are expensive. Lately I just go to Discount Tire and buy their house brand which has a good mileage warranty. Plus they rotate the tires for free and free flat repairs. Actually, they will repair a flat for free even if you didn't buy your tires there.

When I got very close to 200k out of the Wranglers that came on my E350, I decided I should stick with them. When I bought my first replacement set, my dealer was amazed at the miles I got out of them. I told him it was all highway miles, but he said it was still remarkable. I stayed on top of inflation and rotated about every 40k.
