Right now there isn't much work for anybody . Are you in Canada ? I run through Ontario a lot and have seen rigs like that pulling RV's but not many lately . There used to be half a dozen or so spending the night at the Flying J in London but rarely see them now . Check this article out Small truck, big service - Overdrive . Some of the haulers at M & H logistics cut big truck sleepers to fit their Dodges .

Depending on the size box it may have on it, why not just build a sleeper with cab access in it and expedite with it? I would think you may have a better chance at freight thana sprinter or a cargo van. But, as I have learned the hard way, freight is slow for vans right now, at least where I am leased to.But when I am loaded, I enjoy the heck out of it and wouldnt want to do it any other way.I started out expediting in a ford e-350 with a 14' box and made quite a bit back in 1989, when things were good.

Hi I ma in canada I just got my rig licence but it's hard to find work for someone who just did the course and got the licence
so i was going to turn my ford f550 to a hotshot truck to help out until i get a job driving a rig

Well an interesting idea. There is a used truck place up in Schomberg at 27 and Lloydtown-Aurora Rd that has loads of used trucks and you may be able to find a few different size sleepers there. They can even do the install (talk to them).

Depending on frame length possible for a box or bed for hauling instead of a fifth wheel. There are few places that were looking for flatdecks for hotshots and/or covering runs that company drivers can't.
