The Writing on the Wall, of the trailer, that is

Folks,

Let me tell you an experience that happened recently. I delivered at a government facility recently and I had to unload some stuff with the pallet jack. I was using one pallet jack and the customer another one and we were just about to get done and he comes to me and asks me if I am aware of what says on the front wall of the trailer. I said no, and he shows it to me. It was a stick figure and a gun shooting at it's had, and underneath this 'obama die'. I almost freaked out. I told him that I had no idea that was there and I got a permanent marker and covered it up. I don't know if it was there before I picked up the trailer or someone at a shipper that did not allow me on the dock did it, but it was there and it could have ended up ugly.
So, just make sure you don't have anything like that in your trailers.

So is there an investigation?

Did you call FedEx?

Did you take pictures and have the customer acknowledge what was there?

Did you load the trailer?

No need for any of these. The guy just told me to look out for these things, especially at these government places. And I erased it right there, before I left.

Ciprian, when did you move up to an E unit? Thought you still had the Sprinter.

Nick,

About 3 weeks ago I moved to an E unit. I miss my Sprinter. Will get back in it sooner or later. I feel like my hands are tied in this big thing. I just like to go check out Best Buys and the like while waiting for a load. Now I am pretty much stuck in truck stops and an occasional WalMart. Other than that I don't mind logging or anything else. Money is much better than the van though.
