Hi all, Just took delivery of my new FL-112/MB eng/10 spd autoshift. The truck is GREAT, except for the headlights. My FL-80 had the rectangular headlights, and with high output units, there was lotsa light on high or low beam. The new truck has single unit round headlamps and the low beams are barely enough to see with. tried a set of supposedly "bright output" units and they were no better. tried every aiming aspect to no avail. the low beams are receiving 12 volts but they are just weak. Any help or similiar experience would be greatly appreciated......Till then, you may want to stay out of the area my headlights are supposed to illuminate !!!

Try the Sylvania Cool Blues, #H6024CB. I know these put out a ton of bright light, as I use them on my motorcycle and the FL112/Freightliner Century Class trucks use the same sealed beam unit. Make sure you are not aiming way too high with the lows, and these should work the best for the round headlights.
