In his April 1 national address, Trump said, "They have no anti-aircraft equipment. It’s been annihilated. Our pilots are flying over there and they see nothing. There is nothing left to hit them with."
If the fool believes he can send US jets into Iranian airspace with impunity, he is sadly mistaken. A US F-15E jet has been downed today by Iranian fire. A US rescue helicopter was struck by hostile fire and landed safely after fleeing.
Additionally, a U.S. Air Force A-10 Warthog crashed into the Persian Gulf near the Strait of Hormuz. It went down after being targeted by Iranian air defense systems positioned along the coast. The pilot was rescued by US forces.
Two US jets downed by Iranians in the same 24 hour period. How is that possible when Trump told the nation just 2 days ago that "They have no anti-aircraft equipment. It’s been annihilated?"
