Yet Another Case Where Trump Does Not Pay His Bills

What am I missing here? According to the text of this article "the people planning a rally featuring former president Donald Trump" were responsible for paying the bill - not Trump, nor his personal organization. The balance was billed to the Secret Service.

You are correct and I stand corrected.

The Left is melting down over all of these Twitter revelations. They are having trouble coping with so much Truth being hurled at them.

Trump Campaign? What Campaign?

Since Trump became an official candidate for president, "There’s been no media blitz. There’s been no tour of the country. There’s been no rollout of policy or any unifying theme. It’s been Trump sitting in Mar-a-Lago, just like before, lurching from one idiotic controversy to another."

Well maybe he is taking a lesson from Biden and hiding in his basement, worked for him.....

So what he announced early. Most people are tired of the continuous political season. We are talking TWO YEARS before the next election. Silly to have him out there campaigning full throttle now.

For you it's "So what he announced early." For this writer, Rich Lowery, it's "Trump made a huge mistake by announcing early."
Rich Lowry is a Never Trumper from the Never Trump National Review.
It doesn’t matter how many candidates enter the race. Almost everyone of them has no shot at winning. People like John Bolton, Chris Christie, Mike Pence, Nicki Haley. The list goes on. The Republican base, which is for America First populism, has very little interest in supporting those people listed.

But this is from the article:

Like I said, even though it’s ok to announce early, there is very little desire right now to hear stump speeches from whirlwind tours of the country.
It IS the holiday season, bro.

No doubt, there isnt anyone on either side worth voting for.

Biden had something like 17 or so opponents in the primary and was trailing badly in the polls. With a snap of a finger from someone he became the odds on favorite to win the nomination . It happens that quickly.

In recent weeks ...

  • A large number of candidates Trump backed for office lost their election bids.
  • Republicans blame Trump for their poor showing in the midterms.
  • Rupert Murdoch’s conservative media empire declared Trump a has-been.
  • Few people rushed to endorse Trump following his announcement for president.
  • Trump's favorite child made it clear she wants nothing to do with his political aspirations.
  • Trump's family business was found guilty of 17 crimes.
  • More classified documents were found in one of Trump's storage facilities.
  • Because of a Trump-adverse Supreme Court ruling, congressional Democrats finally got their hands on Trump's tax returns.
  • A Special Counsel was appointed by the attorney general to oversee two CRIMINAL investigations into Trump’s conduct.
  • The 11th Circuit court of appeals threw out the special master Trump wanted.
  • Two recent polls showed Ron DeSantis thrashing Trump
  • One recent poll puts Trump significantly behind Biden in a 2022 matchup.
  • NY Attorney General James files major lawsuit against Trump Organization
  • Judge orders that a court-appointed monitor be seated inside the Trump Organization offices to make sure no further crimes are committed and no attempts to exit the state of New York are made.
  • The House Jan 6 Committee announced criminal referrals will be made and all evidence gathered will be given to DOJ.
    (Some items from this source)
... and the main events have yet to come:

Trump Indicted for Jan 6 Crimes
Trump Indicted for Classified Documents and Presidential Records Crimes
Trump Indicted for Election Crimes

In the Meantime ...

Trump casts himself in image of super hero and offers the images for $99 each. The man is literally turning himself into a cartoon character who operates in fantasy land. In the midst of his fading influence and worsening legal troubles, Trump is nursing a fantasy in which he is a super hero with super powers.

Can anyone say stable genius?

The REAL Trump Trading Card Collection

As cryptocurrency prices collapse under a cloud of fraud and scandal, Trump fits right in as he enters the crypto world with a Trump-themed NFT collection to sell.

He's asking $99 per NFT, which he is marketing as "digital trading cards." For those not wishing to pay the price to have his super hero images, anyone can copy the images online and have them for free. That is not a true NFT. It's not the real thing. So if you want the real thing, go ahead and pay Trump $99 so you can say you have an authentic Trump digital collector card.

Trump may not have known it when he started this, but he launched a flurry of other Trump-themed NFT-like images which people are having a great time designing and trading for free. They get to have all the same NFT fun without the price. Some of the early ones are shown below. Look for more to come, and more, and more, and more, and more ... like forever.
