If you find yourself in or around Lexington Ky. get off I 75 take 25 west to New Circle Drive...go about a mile and you will find an old Drive In / Diner right out of the 60's called the "Parkette"...
They have the old drive up menu boards and speakers to order from. (yeas I know sonic has them too) The menu is right out of the 50's 60's also...I had a Fried bologna snadwich , fries and a chocolate malt....mmmmm good...the place is old and has to have been there when the girls delivered the food on rollerskates...no skates now that I seen, the parking lot is a bit rough, and the "lady' that brought my food was probably there back in the day when she did use rollerskates!! LOL! But she still looked the part....
Anyhow, if you are in the area, give it a try, but make sure you have a bunch of napkins to wipe up the grease from the burgers and sandwiches!!! MMMMM GOOD!!!
