Early Saturday Morning, Kyle Rae Smith, an excellent dispatcher from Rodriguez Expediting, was tragically and senselessly gunned down fter bumping into someone in Detroit. The story can be read here: http://detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060205/METRO/602050343&SearchID=73234931440459. Kyle was one of the good ones. She was caring and worked hard to keep her drivers busy. She always had a wise crack to cheer you up when you needed cheering. Most importantly, she would always listen and show concern when you needed to vent.

The family of Kyle could really use some help. No one expects to lose a loved one so young. If you would like to to help, even if it's only a card, or flowers, or an online condolence to show support, it can be sent to the following addresses.

Online condolences can be sent to: http:\\www.pursefuneralhome.com

Donations can be sent to her mother:

Rodriguez Expediting
9400 Pelham Rd.

Flowers can be sent to:

Please help in any way you feel comfortable.

This hits way to close to home for me.She is from the same town i am and still live near.Tecumseh is a small town and to be reading something like this scares me.She was only a couple of years behind me in school.Truely a sad sad day.My thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones.
