The chicken catcher won!

Has anyone been following America's Got Talent? This cute fella from Kentucky that was an unemployed chicken catcher wrestled the title away from the glamorous opera singer.

Kevin Skinner has one of those pure heartfelt voices that just makes you cry or smile. Not only did he win a million bucks, but also a years contract in Las Vegas.

I really liked those Texas Tenors too, but Kevin's been my favorite since his first song!

I wasn't really following the show too much, but my Wife was watching it so I saw the finale. I would think even if he didn't win he'd probably get a record contract.
He reminds me of a cross between Trace Adkins and Willie Nelson
It was cool that he won though

Sharon was comparing him to Johnny Cash...but I agree with the Willy Nelson comparison..he's always been a favorite of mine. So has Trace, but I think his voice is deeper.
