Drunk driver: I am escorting my lonely goat on a date, officer
Astonished police who stopped a car for drink driving found a h***y goat in the passenger seat being taken on a date by his farmer owner.
The 54-year-old driver - who was three times over the drink drive limit - claimed his goat had been 'lonely' and he'd been to a friend's farm in Kretzyn, Poland, to meet a female goat.
'They had had a few vodkas to break the ice and then some more to celebrate and by the the time he left with his now not so lonely goat he was very drunk,' said one officer.
'He was very sorry but he was a danger to other drivers. He's lost his licence and he may well go to prison for a while,' he added.

Motorist gets barking ticket for driving with dog on his lap
A driver convicted of being at the wheel with a sheepdog on his lap has said he should not have been prosecuted
Keith Little claimed the animal was between the front seats of his car and was a Patterdale terrier rather than the sheepdog police had alleged.
He also said he had been stopped 16 times in six months. The 62-year-old, from Carlisle, was convicted of failing to properly control his car in the town in May.
Carlisle magistrates revoked his licence and fined him £32 with £65 costs.
Little told the News & Star: 'They [the police] said it was a black and white collie cross, like a sheepdog; if they think a Patterdale terrier is a sheepdog, I don’t think much of their powers of observation.'

Rocket carries cheese into space
It was almost a case of to infinity and brie-ond when a spacecraft carrying a cargo of cheese came back down to Earth.
A capsule containing a large lump of French cheese travelled around the planet twice before parachuting safely into the Pacific Ocean.
The 12kg (26lb) portion of Le Brouère cheese is thought to have become involved in the mission because Elon Musk, who sent it up in his SpaceX company’s capsule, is a fan of the famous Monty Python cheese shop sketch.
In it, a shopper goes to a cheese store and becomes increasingly irritated because no cheese is on sale
Mr Musk, who co-founded PayPal, was testing the spacecraft as part of a plan to develop others to supply the International Space Station.
The cheese, which was made near Vittel in eastern France, is now thought to be on a barge heading to California following its recovery

BBC's Mark Thompson missed meteor on Stargazing Live
Television astronomer Mark Thompson was left red-faced after missing a meteor during Stargazing Live
Viewers spotted the incident and contacted the BBC show after Thompson bemoaned a lack of activity across the sky.
He said: 'I must admit I was oblivious to it.
'I think I'm probably the only person in the entire country who didn't see it'.
The astronomer was doing a piece to the camera when the meteor appeared in the sky above his right shoulder.
After the gaffe was spotted by viewers the live show returned to Thompson for his rather embarrassed explanation.
