The Skill Challenage at FedEx Custom Critical was a Blast. Lawrence and his staff from Expediters Online was there with many other vender's giving away some really nice door prize's. There was some Great Driver's from all over the U.S. there just having fun and telling about life on the road.
When the Skills Challenge was 1st started over 6 years by Karl Kuwso and the Folks in the Safty Dept at Robert Express in Akron, Ohio. I never thought it would get this big. Boy was I wrong, I bugged Karl it seemed like forever to have a truck Rodeo at Robert's Express because Landstar Express has one every year and my uncle would say "if Robert's so Great why don't they have a truck Rodeo". He just loved to get me mad. So I went to Karl and Told him what my uncle was saying and Karl said will just have to do something about it.
I think the 1st year there was like 12 to 16 drivers in all that took the skills Challenge. Over the year's alot of people have put some hard work to make it what it is today. Thanks Karl for getting it going.
