Did the Obama campaign even listen to the interview by Rich Warren?

Why do they keep harping on this "McCain says middle class is under 5 million"

It was a joke! Rick asked him what he thought was middle class and he jokingly said 5 million per year?

He then said something to the effect of "no, I don't really think that, someone will distort that..."


They laughed and went on..

Sure enough... The Obama campaign goes on and on and on....

What I think is so funny is McCain said they were going to distort it. They must really be worried about getting beat to keep on the same thing. Although all politicians in any race have been guilty of this I'm sure.
