My cousins recently introduced me to "Team National", it's a benefits package co. of sorts... I'm not involved in it yet... was wondering if anybody has ever heard of it before. Thanks, Bob.

From just a quick glance on Google for "Team National", it would appear that it is another pyramid scheme!x(

That's what I was thinkin', it's a pyramid scheme, but he's gotten all his brothers and sisters involved in it - as well as his parents (My aunt and uncle), and they're startin' to make "money". The thing that grabbed my attention is that there is no "Product" to sell. I'm gonna go to one of the meetings here in SC and check it out closer, I've watched the DVD presentations of the co., I'm slowly gettin' more interested in it. But I want to talk to more "real" people 1st about it. Not former engineers or doctors or business owners or business CEO's... real every day people that are into it - he says I'll meet some at the meetings. I'm not gettin' into it yet.

Was curious to know if anybody hear of this "Team National" before... apparently not, even though it's been around for about 9 or 10 years.

The thing he was tellin' me is that he's got 108 people in 4 months signed up in it... and he's makin' money off every one of 'em that gets enough "points" earned. and the people he gets signed on make money by doing the same thing. In a Pyramid Scheme only the person at the top makes money, here everybody makes money - if they work together. He's tellin' me he is makin' on average, after his 1st month, about 1,500 a week or more... this past week he got 2,500. That's not exactly small change, and when it's happening in one's own family it sure makes one raise their eyebrows and scratch their head over it.

ok, well, the question is still out there, anybody heard of
"Team National" before? it's a benefits package of sorts as best I can see, and it saves people money on stuff.

This is a direct selling or network marketing company. I don't believe it is a pyramid scheme or a scam. They are members of the DSA (Direct Selling Association). It is possible for the average person to make money in this industry but you have to be willing to talk with A LOT of people. Many people start with friends and family and then you need to work on your cold market. Many of the successful people use targeted leads that they contact about the opportunity. So basically you need to recruit people and then you need to lead the group and duplicate what you are doing.

I have a good friend that is in this industry and is very successful ($50,000+ per month). He has worked his tail off but he is now seeing the fruits of his labor. This business is not for everyone and I am included in that. The money is very tempting but I don't think that I could get on the phone and call people for hours on end and have 95% of them tell to get lost.

If you feel this industry is for you then I would do a lot more research before you jump in. I know from talking with my friend that you need to find a company that has a single focus with a powerful product. Good luck on your decision.
