TA improves another travel center

We left a perfectly good parking space at Donna's T/P in Marysville,WA Sunday morning to relocate to the TA in North Bend,WA. We needed to do laundry and since Donna's had none we knew we could count on TA, afterall we've done laundry there back when it was the Seattle East T/P and even after TA first took it over. Anyway don't all TA's have a laundry?

Well, we and several other drivers drug our dirty laundry inside only to learn that they no longer have a laundry! Whats up with that? Management says its because the County won't let them have a laundry. Why? Furthermore we see where no noticable improvements have been made to the facility since TA took over. Oh, they did change the traffic flow. As for the overflow lot across the street, its gone. You should see this parking mess that they have now!

Now you really know theres a parking problem at the ol truckstop when a Stoops Special FDCC DR-unit has been riding around the lot for the past ten or fifteen minutes and appearantly can't find a parking space!LOL

They were improving a TA down in Terrel,TX a couple years back. They had porta johns and showers on the parking lot the time I was there. Nicest porta john I've ever been in. The toliet actually flushed with water, had hot water sinks in them(most trucker don't need those different thread), lights, and electrical vent fans. That would be something nice to have at the hunting camp. They had them brought in from Georgia so that led me to believe they are something you find everywhere.

Plus I could believe anything about that area of the country. Some enviromentalist might have gotten made and said the extra bleach being used at the truck stop was harming the enviroment and they closed them down. No wonder they call it the "Left" coast.
