First of all my bretheren I say these words with love and not malice, anger or disparingly. there are real truths that we have to accept .1)Money knows very little loyalty, 2) companies owe you nothing. 3)companies only are responsible to their share holders. sorry thats the reality. If this wernt the tenants of capitolism we would be socialist.. and they suck look at heir numbers.Companies will follow the least path of resistance to make a profit for their sharholders ie .my dad (middle class) my uncle (lower middle class)their are more average americans owning stock than anyother time in our history in the millions. the big 3 does not compete with each other anymore they compete with the world.. thats the reality (how do you like those $4.00 t shirts at wallmart?ahe. thats because china can pay labor at 2.00 an hour.. you cant change that. you can talk the self serving unions about wanting tio glutton and suck all the profit(which goes to reaserch and developemont for new products) to give up some of their elaborate wastful gains to be more competitve.with the world.:

As a side note.. I do believe they had their place and be commended for their work in the early days. but the landscape have changed and the rest of the world will not give a ##### about what these people think they are owed... they are coming to get a piece of your action THEY ARE HUNGRY AND THE UNIONS HAVE BECOME COMPLAICENT.. AND ARE WAITING WITH YOU OWE ME YOUOWE ME YOU OWE ME

Okay but what about US companies that have gone to China and set up shop like Yale locks, Rockwell Delta and others, The Fancy door sets that used to cost 700 bucks cost 900 now but they have a plant there where the workers live at the factory in a clean apt instead of a shack on stilts in the mud and earn 42 cents a week, yet yale still charges 900 bucks per boxed set? ( cha-ching)

Rockwell delta claimed um er sure we'll move our factory ( woodworking tools) over there and we can charge less yet their stuffs quality is now poor and the prices are double.

Greedy unions are what caused these CEOs to get the idea to move abroad to begin with and I believe now its spiraling down the big flusher, why pay someone 35 bucks an hour on overtime when China Chan will work his whole family down at the lock plant for 2 bucks a week.

It used to be these big companies didnt have an out when it came to labor, they had to bite the big bad union bullet back when a Toyota would break down every other day ( like my moms 71 carina that was delivered with a cracked block) but now the shoes on the other foot
and they are sticking it to ya.

I personally dont think theres anything to be salvaged right now too many hands in the cookie jar. Americans will now have to just build something else to stay on top.

I know a lot of you folks don't like unions, but have you looked at the non union salaried employees wage package. Some of their goodies make the hourly workers compensation look very meager. It is also the non union shops that have gone to China. It is great for the companies to send $25.00 dollar jobs overseas, and it is also great to send $8.00 jobs away. Either way, a wage of ten million yen or yang, or whatever is great. Ten million yen is probably about two dollars a day.

Thanks. :+ :+
