The best hope is that you take your Sterling to a Dual (or Tri) brand dealer like Knoxville Freightliner or Team Truck (Ontario). At least they have an incentive to keep you happy so when it comes time to trade the Sterling in you might buy a Freightliner.
The Sterling dealer here in Kitchener is quite PO'd. He had really turned a lot of people on to the brand in the last 2 years, especially the local townships and cities.

I certainly understand the dealers being angry. But, it seems they are getting some type of compensation. The ones that otta be angry are the ones that just plunked down a 100K or better for equipment.

Daimler caused problems for Chrysler also . Dodge just brought out their medium duty 4500/5500 trucks a couple of years ago , proving Sterling with the Sterling Bullet as their new medium duty truck . Sterling made the frames for these trucks so the future of the Dodge 4500/5500 is doubtful . I haven't heard anything of any attempt to find another frame provider .
