St Louis traffic alert-fatal tractor trailer accident

I 44 westbound west of St Louis at the Six Flags exit is closed due to a fatal accident. Reports are it involves a tractor trailer , box truck, and possibly a car there is heavy fog in the St Louis area. The Mo highway patrol reports the westbound lanes will be closed till sometime around noon subject to change avoid the area

Update police say a car was stalled/stopped in the middle lane in fog the truck driver tried to avoid the car loosing control of his truck pullling a set of double trailers, the truck turned over killing the truck driver and the trailers slid into the back of a box truck. ONe of the trailers pushed the car thru a guard rail down into a ditch that driver is in critical condition
