The I-70 Interstate has been closed twice today due to the Ice on the road, Semis are having a hard time making the Small hills and there have been fatalities, If you dont need to be driving today, sit this one out , if your coming thru St Louis be prepared the roads are ICE...between the snow and salt its resulted in Glaze Ice, on the road, ramps and everywhere....

Snow amounts were between 8" and 16" areound the metro area and the snow drifts are still an issue, temps that are below zero through the night and as I write its -6 below, so there is now thawing or improving roads, Be careful my friends, its a bad slippery mess here in the St Louis area...

Went through that Last Night 55 was realy bad. Tractor Trailers in the ditches all over the place South of the Highway 72. In that area on down to St Louis area. I drove by the Flying J off of the 270 side on the top and Truckers were arguing over parking spots. Very Very Very Cold here. Dont care what anyone says Im wearn my coverals. with my Fed Jacket over them. Got the tanks all Coked up with Anti Gel. Remember somthing Power service is good down to -40 below and sorry to say Howes only makes -20. Hope ya all can stay warm. and Dont forget your Bottles of 911 in case ya gel up and got to switch filters. Stay Warm All.

Confirmed: Fatal accident on eastbound I-44 at Jefferson. Use an alternate route. We have dispatched crews to the scene.
Traffic: Backups due to icy conditions on northbound and westbound I-70 east of I-170.
3 left lanes closed due to a 2 vehicle collision on NB I-55 at Meramec Bottom Rd.

My Brother was at the Flying J by Pontoon Beach off 270 and a Schnieder truck had gotten screwed up at the entrance to the fuel Island and was blocking the fuel entrance and exit, it was a mess, and trucks were parked all over, the lot was a snowed in mess...
