Sprinter Van Question

Hello - Brand new here - great website/forum:
I would like to ask about Sprinter Vans before I go for my CDL B.
Are the companies that hire OTR Sprinter van drivers that use a company vehicle - Or are OTR Sprinter van driver independent contractors with their own vehicles?

For the most part, the vans you see are independent, self employed owners leased to the company. There are also fleet owners with independent drivers.
