Is it me, or does Mark Dantonio have really, REALLY big stones after calling for a fake FG to win in overtime last night? Instead of going for the tie and extending overtime, the MSU coach calls for a fake and they execute it to perfection. The line bought all the time in the world for the punter/holder to pop up--and look around for what seemed to be an eternity--and find the tight end streaking up the field and score the easy touchdown for the 34-31 win.

I hope Dantonio carries powder. Those big cojones must chaff a bit.

Because they needed a breather. If it was upheld, then they got it for free. If not, it's a timeout. Good plan.

In other news... Mark Dantonio (MSU Head Coach) suffered a heart attack after the game. Still no word on him now.

That call was more a result of not trusting your kicker to make the FG than anything else.

Update on Mark Dantonio. He had an operation to have a stent put in place and it was a mild heart attack. They are expecting a full, quick recovery.
