Well been out here too long I Think.
I droped a load up In Minlan NV just South of Sparks (Reno NV) Last Thur.
After I Pulling away from the Consignee and getting out on the road I herd a clink and then smelled somthing bitter and so I pulled over to find the Water Pump was had let go and was leaking U know what.
GRRRRR sigh. (Good Thing Im Mechanical not a Wheel turner)
Being from the Farm and having a Father taught me right has its advantages over a City Boy.
Sigh, As the boy that put his finger in the dike so to speak I did as well and used some JB weld and sealed the cracke and Got underway toward sparks, I called Freightliner they said not till Friday So I called Petro they said they do but there Mechanic called in Sick. So I ended up at the TA in Sparks. For 8 hours the guy worked on replacing the water pmp and lines ect. total Bill was a cool 1097.55 ya I Know.
alot of monie for a water pmp. Got underway at about 830 pm or so and Headed down to Ontario CA where I was told to lay over for a load by FedEX after I had delivered up in Minlan NV. Well got down here in Ontario CA and been sitting at the TA East as I am a good boy not a bad boy as you know all bad boys go to the West dont ya BBBG (Willie)
Well Sunday I was doing my routine Checks like I do and found that the altanator wasnt doing its job, it's been on the the truck for the 3 years that Ive been on it, so I had to get it replaced well any case not only did I find that the altanator was was bad but the guy at the TA in Sparks had installed a clamp on the bottom radiator pipe and hose wrong and it was leaking so I got it fixed as well and i also found another leak as well the hose comming out of the Airpump of which Was replaced at TJ in NJ going to the motor was leaking oil as well. So any way more money down the drain.
The Altanator and the Air pump Hose ran a total of 631.00 for them both.
Sigh so now here I sit there are 5 E unites (Tractor Trailers and 4 D unites) here in Ontario CA I'm at the top Number 1 on board pushen over 80 hours Dwell. Im chomping at the bit for a load East.
FedEX Load Angels now is the time please get me to where I need to be the East Coast Please .
