Drivers coming to Southern Ontario should be aware that during "SMOG ALERTS" the anti-idling laws are strictly enforced. Vehicle exhaust is one of the ingrediants of the blanket of polluted air that covers Ontario during heat waves.
I haven't heard of nor read of specific instances of truckers idling with the air conditioners running being harrassed but I'm sure the inspectors are monitoring truck stops.
