Slow for everyone else ?

It’s been slower this year than last year but it has been steady at least for me. My question is why are you sitting in one place waiting for a load? I don’t know what company you are working for but when I sit for 24 hours I have back haul calling me with load offers if there aren’t any expedite loads out there. If I am sitting its because I want to sit take a broker load to move you to where the freight is.

We drive a 22" str8 truck and have NEVER had a problem getting out of Laredo...just like this guy...same day or next. Even if there were several trucks already there, as to which I believe is directly related to your stats. The only place in TX we had to sit was El Paso with a 5 day wait.
And YES it was very slow this past week...We sat in Delaware since the 22nd and finally got out on the 27th. Our company said there would be plenty of work for those who chose to stay in service instead of going home...crock-O-
te. then they tried to prebook us on Fri for a Mon pickup with only 300 miles. We told them if they couldnt get it covered by someone else by that time we would take it but then I put ourselves on the hometime board and on the 27th they found us a 1000 mile, load getting us 20 miles from home here in FL.
