Shame on me for not knowing the answer, but do truck stops sell propane?

And if so, if I showed up towing a 25 foot RV, would they be able to fill my bottles?

Flying J's and Love's usually have refill capacity; Pilots usually just have swappable bottles. Stuff's pricey, tho

I use Fly-J in the winter to refill my LP tank for big buddy heater .. actually not bad price considering i gas up there also ...

Or, you could buy your own STR8, build 1/2 of the box into an RV and go long haul expediting as a retirement option
