Don't know if ya'll know about it or not, some probably do though I'm sure... anyways, a good route into FL from upstate SC is 25 to 301, Rt. 56, Rt. 39, and Rt. 321 will all get you there down to 25 and 301. Reason I mention it is because taking I-26 east to 95 south is one hour and 30 min. longer. I've tested it a few times now to be sure. 301 will run you right down to Tampa and farther. The roads in SC are good, just watch for deer in the evening and early morning. GA is fine. Watch your signs along the route and you'll save alot of time.
There's some long stretches of about 30 min.+ where there's nothing, so be sure to get fuel in SC or GA. FL fuel prices are alot higher, like 10 to 15+ cents on average.
Somethin' neat I found, for my CB... in the 75 Chrome Shop in Wildwood, FL is screw-on chrome knobs that replace your stock knobs... they really dress it up. They have different styles you can choose from too. They're 6 to 10 bucks though each.
They're gonna have a truck show down there in early June, maybe Lawrence will want to look into that for advertising and promoting?
Anybody know where I can find Great Dane mudflaps?
besides the Great Dane dealerships and website?
any truckstops along lower 95 or repair places in SE US?
