Rooting for the Jews

Liberals are an entertaining lot. They don't like things. That's not so unique. That's not so entertaining. What's entertaining about liberals are their thinking and their reasoning or more specifically the lack thereof. What makes it so entertaining is how they can both love and hate something at the same time and in so doing they can both love and hate those who agree and disagree with them respectively. The primary cause of this entertaining action is their use of their heart rather than their brain in creating and developing their thought processes and opinions. Now, as with anything, this is not an absolute that can be painted across the board but it is certainly covered by the 80/20 rule if not closer to 90/10 thinking with their hearts while their brains idly pass the time.

Conservatives don't like things. That's not so unique. That's not so entertaining. The difference is the conservatives are thinking with their brain for the most part. Again the 80/20 rule and perhaps a 90/10 rule applies. There are some conservatives who are very tender hearted and could compare to some liberals. Most do not fall into that category. Take discrimination as an example. Conservatives do not like discrimination. Conservatives do not believe in discrimination. For the most part conservatives will speak against discrimination in any and all cases preferring to let the most appropriate choice prevail.

Liberals do not like discrimination, unless they like discrimination. How does that work? Well, if you are a liberal you take something negative, like discrimination, and you give it a new name. Forget what Shakespeare said, things do change their smell when you rename them. Discrimination stinks but if you are a liberal you can rename it affirmative action and suddenly discrimination is something to be appreciated and promoted at any opportunity. Forget making appropriate choices. That doesn't matter. You needn't let the most qualified be selected anymore. You only have to discriminate and choose one of the ones who should be passed over and paste that affirmative action label on them.

Currently the liberals are going haywire over words and feelings. You just must not use certain words. Apparently liberals missed the day their Granny told them the sticks and stones saying. They are going after school mascots and team names. It's inappropriate to use names like Chiefs, Warriors, Bullets, Indians and similar names that have been in place for decades because there could be an extremely small number of people who don't like them. A caller to one of my favorite radio shows asked the host, a Jewish man, “What if the team was named the Jews?” The host said he'd love it if more people were rooting for the Jews and cheering them. That's the difference. They more often take the time to actually think and reason before diving head first to condemn or to redefine words.

Discrimination is just one area where liberals leave their brain in neutral while their hearts and mouths fly in overdrive. It's time for those whose brains are actually engaged to become more active and more vocal in denouncing this liberal hypocrisy and retake control of common sense.

Well I would have agree with you Leo but I don't see much difference between a conservative and a liberal in today's country. If it was say 1979, yeah there was but the hypocrisy seems to be on both sides and the same issues seem to have the same sides.

Outside of a few issues created for effect, you know those that are deeply divisive which are used for exposure, there really isn't much difference between a liberal and a conservative today. To be exact, they seem to support the same things but not at the same degree, like government intrusion and the thought police state. They seem to get all worked up by the same illogic and lack of reasoning and they miss the point that they themselves can do more other than act all incredulous, spin it to their level of reasoning when something offends them.

I don't see the massive movement to actually move from their appearance of being hypocrites in the conservative movement, it is the opposite. It is like they want to remain the static in 1964 while at the same time wanting to stop everything being said on the other side. The conservative politician to many are compromising fools and liars, and surprisingly a number of Tea Party people who act more like libertarians said 'we didn't vote for them to be the same but to put a stop to things and if this means stopping government, that's alright with us because that is what the need to do'. Already there have been compromises in the Senate, bad ones and it is business as usual.

Discrimination isn't a problem as people make it out as. It actually exists at an immeasurable level today compared to the past and it seems to be more of a subject for the frustrated and the media who wants to make money. It is used today as a civil rights rally cry, by both sides and I have seen and heard how conservative when called on what they say back down and apologize. NO one seems to have the nerve to call it as it really is, no one conservative seems to want to actually admit that we are not living in 1964 and the laws we have passed then need to change for the times, like the civil rights act.

One example that has been cited in the past few days is the Oscars, Hollywood's orgy of self-gratification. Not one "Minority" is being nominated by Hollywood and a few conservatives talk show hosts have picked up on this to bash the left but they still don't get the problem they cause by their silence on what could solve the problem - call for a boycott the entertainment industry. See these conservatives are not there to actually do something positive but make their money off of b*tching about the other side of the aisle. They don't dare to cut their own throat by boycotting the very industry that they make money in - kind of hypocritical when you come down to it.

BUT the other side of the coin to that specific subject links the two groups together, the use of word minority in pointing out something that is "wrong". See if we are to be enlighten, then conservatives should look at the source and think not in terms of color or minority but rather in terms of business and human endeavor of the arts while placing the Oscars in context of the industry, a very environmentally destructive industry that actually works on the very basic capitalist system that the conservatives claim they support.

The same goes for a number of issues with voting. Conservatives are very quick to defend the vote as the liberals are but they don't get the idea that the federal government has no real right to stick their nose into the business of the states. I have yet to hear a mainstream conservative talk show host demand a repeal of the 17th amendment, or to speak about why it is needed.
