Right freight lanes

Just got off the phone with another Landstar solo driver who is now on his fifth load in the last 7 days plus he turned down several loads due to hours and location of drop off.
They were all less than 600 miles from KY to IL to MI then back to IL then back to MI over to IL and now in route to KS.

Talk about being in the right freight lanes can’t get much better that anytime of the year let alone January.

He’s been trying to get home to FL but the Freight Gods have other plans for him it appears.

Every time I head home, I get a call from an agent with a run back here in NY. I don't mind it but come on, every time?

I looked at the projections and need to go home where the action is.

So I am going home tomorrow after my umpteenth run through the back roads of PA and NY where it was all ice this morning and may be again tomorrow but I am not going that way
