Greetings fellow Expediters,
The last 2 years I found my self serving my country with the reserves.
I was ready to jump back into expediting back then but duty called.
Now that I have returned I am considering going back into expediting once again.
The job market is very tight to say the least right now and I am not naive to think that the expediting career is feeling the affects as well.
This forum has been extremely helpful and so much has changed within this profession.
I love expediting and the freedom that comes with it.
I would love to be an O/O vs. driving for someone else due to previous experiences.
My desire is to drive a cargo van or a Sprinter.
This is were I need some advise and informational help.
1) Is it possible to freelance vs driving for a company?
2) What licenses or permits does one need?
3) What would be the top ten things an individual should consider having before starting a business in expediting?
I appreciate any input you could give on this matter.
