qualifications for non-compliant vehicles

Have an application in front of me to sign on with another company. It's the standard thing, previous employers and such. But they only want the last 3 years. Is that because it's not a "driving job" as in driving a compliant vehicle, or will I have to remember the previous 7 years when I get there? I guess memory is the first thing to go.

I keep a slip of paper with the last 10 yrs in my wallet. My memory went sometime or other. I'd tell you when but I forget.
