Qualcomm elog decal source

Co driver and I desire to affix one of those "diver is using electronic logs" decals on our truck. I think it also has the Qualcomm logo.

I searched the web to no avail. Does anyone know of a source ? Ill pay postage if anyone has a couple laying around.

My next idea is to check with service centers, but seems silly to waste fuel to acquire a couple decals.

Thanks !

A sign shop can make one up for you. I'm surprised drivers who do not have electronic logs have not yet done so in large numbers. It is not a crime to display such information and the scale cop may roll you through.

That's exactly what we were thinking, Phil. Though we run 100 % compliant, a decal "might" just save us a bothersome inspection once in a while. Last year a DOT officer in VT admitted that He didn't know how to check elogs, he just wanted to see our Qualcomm unit because He knew that a flashing red light signaled a violation. He was a nice guy, and admitted also that He was lonely up on the VT / Canadian border.

Going to keep checking for decal source then perhaps a sign shop.

ChanceMaster: PM me your mailing address and i will mail it your home for free, some time this week. i have electronic logs, and the unit arrived with 2 decals. i did not placed them on the truck, thinking that if i will, i will not be inspected. i like to be inspected. so now i have a spare 2.

LoL Phil, taking the 'cheating on your logs' to the extreme!

That might be a reason why a carrier may be reluctant to supply the decals. One of the criticisms carriers have about CSA is that the scale cops are stopping the bad trucks and waving the good ones through. This hurts the carriers because they do not get credit for passing inspections. With the scoring system as it is, carriers want as many clean inspections as they can get.

Interesting point Ateam. Had not thought of it that way. My motivation is purely selfish, in hopes to avoid being pulled in.
