Given that expediting is as much a lifestyle as it is a business, I figured it would be helpful to those new to the industry to consider the changes one must make in his/her life in order to better navigate the trials and tribulations of this business. Raising this question brings up an important part of the equation which is housing/living arrangements. I, myself am considering downsizing to a mobile home from the house I currently own.

For those of you whose official domicile is your truck, anything you can share regarding the issue of legal address for mailing and tax purposes, vehicle registration, etc. would be very helpful and much appreciated.

If someone makes their truck their official domicile, they'll lose the per diem deduction. That's a significant chunk of change.
