Price for fuel pump repair on a Sprinter?

Fuel pump just went out and the only place close that can work on the Sprinter is a Mercedes dealership that I dropped it off at tonight. How much does a fuel pump repair at a dealership run? Older Sprinter (2005) but it seems like no part on these things are ever cheap

I don't know, but rumor has it it's about 2 arms and an ear.

They'll have the used car guy appraise it.
80% of it's value will be the estimate.
They will give you a nice trade in offer on a new one.

Just kidding. I don't have a clue.

Which one was it I believe there are two. The tank and a booster on the engine. Don't know the cost but am curious.

In tank pump about 500.00. High pressure fuel pump on front of engine, about 1500.00.

Doctor A can rebuild the high pressure pump for $400 but that does not include removal and re-installing it. The pump inside the tank is either 369 or 429 depending if you have the espar heater.

Now if it is at the dealership those prices mean nothing get ready for a really big bill.
