Hi

I need some help to see it I could qualify to drive for any company. I had a kidney transplant almost 25 years ago and survived cancer 10 years ago. I passed a DOT physical in Feb 05 and also I hold an FAA class II medical for commercial pilots. Does anyone know if I would qualify.

Thank You.:)

Driver qualifications far exceed just having a DOT physical. Most companies require one to two years driving experience in the type of vehicle you intend to operate in addition to a decent employment history and a reasonable, clean, driving record (MVR).
Passing a DOT physical is a good thing because the doctor performing the physical is certifying he/she sees no reason that you shouldn't be able to perform the physical duties of driving a commercial motor vehicle.
The only way to find out if you qualify with any company is to apply to that company.
I wish you good luck in your ventures.
Thanks,
