Personal Dispatching Service

I am currently dispatching my son (pick-up with flatbed), I keep him loaded and making money. I pay for the most popular load boards and I work with all the brokers and their posts to load boards. Is there a need for this service to others ? And how would I let others know ?

Arthur, this sounds like a great idea... (BUT!!) As you start acting as a middle man between brokers and drivers you are going to put yourself in a precarious position. If the broker or shipper does not pay for the load, how is the driver going to get paid? By offering this service you will be acting as an agent for both the broker and the driver, and a great deal of responsibility comes along with this. What happens if you find a load for a driver and they pick it up and then disappear never to be seen again? How are you going to get paid for your services? What is your backup plan in case (fill in the blank) happens with a particular load? Before you get off the ground with this plan, I would consult an attorney and draw up a contract that will protect you from any legal issues that may arise. It sounds like a good idea, I'd just recommend that you do your homework and have a rock solid plan in place. Good luck and keep us posted. - X

How expensive are those most popular load boards a month anyway?
Is the cost manageable and worth it?
Let me know please.
