pay fuel or not?

i have an oportunity to drive a guys truck and get paid 35% and he pays for fue or 49% and i pay for fuel. i would be running team with my wife. the truck is a 26 ft. d unit.out of ohio. he says he can keep us running with very minimal dead head. we pay no tolls. does this sound ok or is there more questions i should ask?

Hi Vejhn,

It is a common standard for the operators to receive 60%, while the owners get the remainder 40%. On this type of plan the operators pay the tolls.
