I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW LONG I NEED TO HAVE THE DRIVER LICENSE TO INSURE MY TRUCK I LIVE IN FLORIDA OR IF THE INSURANCE COMPANY CANNOT INSURE MY TRUCK CAN I INSURE THE TRUCK ON ANOTHER STATE?

You can hold your license for 20 years, but if you don`t have any commercial driving experience, insurance companys won`t touch you. you will probably have to lease on with a company that is self insured.

Huh?

I had my class B cdl for three weeks when I bought my straight truck. I had no problems getting insurance. Never asked if I had any driving experience. Only asked if I had money.
