Hey everyone — found this forum while looking for communities that actually run the routes I run. Good to see real expedited and OTR folks here.
Quick background: Based out of Oregon, been running OTR for 18 years. My main corridor is Pacific Northwest up through BC and into Alaska — the Cassiar Highway, Denali approaches, all the way up. Winter runs on the Cassiar test your equipment and patience in ways the lower 48 don't.
Along the way I got fed up with truck stop coffee — not the "I prefer a pour-over" kind of fed up, more the "18 years of the same burnt pot and I'm done" variety. Started Blacktop Life Coffee a couple years ago — small batch, single-serve capsules and whole bean, made for people who drink coffee in a cab at 2am, not on a porch at 9. It's a side thing that grew real.
Happy to talk Cassiar and Denali routes, Alaska hauls, or anything Pacific Northwest if anyone runs that way. Looking forward to being part of the community here.
