A 600 foot section of an I-40 bridge in the area of Weber Falls, Oklahoma has fallen. Both east and west bound traffic used this bridge. The bridge support was hit by an empty barge traveling up stream on the Arkansas river toward Tulsa. Currently details are incomplete, reports are 3 tractor trailers and a few cars were on the bridge when it fell. The vehicles are currently submerged, part of the bridge is resting on the barge. So far the reporters say there has been 9 fatalities confirmed. Two barge cranes are enroute to the site.
