This article is a bit lengthy, but scanning through it you can get the gist of the author's claim. He says the research of Obama's family lineage indicates Obama is only 6.25% "African Negro", 43.75% "Arab-African", and 50% white. The point is that it is illegitimate for him to claim that he is the first "African-American" candidate for president: he is actually the first "Arab-American" presidential candidate.

As others have commented on the article, I too would like to see more of his sourcing. Maybe this has been added to his blog since the article was written. However, he does make some interesting points as to the marketability of an "Arab-American" presidential candidate.
