No power in reverse on small incline.

I have a 2016 Hino 268A with an Allison 2500 RDS transmission.

Occasionally, when shifting into reverse, there is no power, and sometimes the “R” on the dash will blink. If I shift back into park and then into reverse again, it usually engages and works normally.

The transmission fluid level is good.

The ABS light recently came on. I checked and reseated the front wheel speed sensors, but I could only access and lightly move the wiring on the rear sensors due to limited access.

I’m having difficulty reaching the rear sensors—does anyone have tips for accessing them more easily?

The ABS light has since gone off, but when I connect a code reader, it still shows a fault for the rear left sensor. I’d like to replace that sensor, or reseat it, but I’m not sure how to properly access it.

The ABS blink code was 0-3-4. no abs light. Could test the resistance with a meter. Would I need to spin the wheel to do that test?

Thank you in advance for any help!

Those transmission indicators will blink like that if you don't have your foot firmly on the brake before you push in the button to be able to pull the lever down out of park. Safety feature.
