Haven't posted here in quite awhile. It took THAT long to get over the Hawks' loss to the Packas.
It's that time of the year for weird, funky stuff to happen in the NFL. Coaching changes, free agents changing hands, and the all too serious draft combines are upon us. To me, this is almost as exciting as the regular season. Kinda like the soaps of the NFL... lotsa drama, mayhem, and whatnots.
Jim Zorn (my fav all-time sports dude) has been named head coach for the Redskins. Not that I'm angry he left the Hawks, I'm not. But I never would've thought his stock was that high. More likely is the Skins owner was that desperate.
Now that I'm sitting in Patriotland, I'm curious to know what you think about Bellichek admitting he cheated since he started coaching them. Now, we know the real reason he's a coaching genius. (j/k, or am I?) Is a dynasty a dynasty when it's tainted? I suggest asking Barry Bonds that one.
BTW... THANK YOU GIANTS!!! I've found my faith again in the NFL, and more specifically, the NFC. Possibly the best game ever, and I didn't see it. But the experience on radio was awesome!
Discuss, examine, debate!
