Hey guys how's it going? I own a small business that repairs heavy truck and equipment. I am thinking about buying a Freightliner m2 flatbed to generate some extra cash flow. My plan is to hire someone that i trust to run the truck and run it all over the mid Atlantic region. I have a few customers that are in the business and they say it's a good business to be in especially being that I am a mechanic. What I would like to know is the following:
- Is there work out there for straight flatbed trucks under cdl?
- How hard will it be to keep the truck loaded?
- Will i make any money after paying a driver?
- Would it be more wise to get a different style of truck?
